Tekin wins the Hank Perry 240!

Round 2 of the NCT series also know as "The Hank Perry 240" was held once again in Spokane Washington over Memorial Day weekend. This is one of the largest events in the Northwest with this year being no exception at close to 275 entries and drivers from all over the Northwest and Western Canada.

The biggest class on the entire weekend was the always exciting electric buggy class. In three very close qualifying rounds Tekin's own Jeremy "PG"  Potter would take his Tekin powered Hot Bodies D812/Tekno converted Buggy would Secure the overall Tq. Close on his heels was Tekin powered Jordan Hestness followed by Tekin teammates Jayson Tjepkema and Nick Buechler. Potter would take it to the field in A1 and A2 and come away with the overall win. In A3 Buechler would run away with it and take 2nd overall with Tjepkema rounding out an all Team Tekin Podium. All 3 drivers ran Rx8 Gen2's with T8 Motors.

The 4wd Mod Buggy class would put Tekin powered Nick Buechler on the pole for triple A-mains. This was one of the tightest fields of the weekend. It would come down to A3 to decide the overall winner. Buechler was able to win the main but the overall would go to Mike Hudson putting Nick TQ and 2nd overall after the points were totaled. Tekin teammate Jerem "PG" Potter would round out the podium in 3rd overall. Both drivers chose the Tekin RS Pro and Gen 2 Redline motors to power them to a top spot.

Jayson Tjepkema was able to wrap up the overall Tq in 4wd sc in first two qualifiers. Tjepkema would go on to take 1st place in both A-1 and A-2 giving him the overall win for the weekend in the 4wd SC class. "The Tekin Pro4HD 4300 and Rx8 Gen2 gave me enough power to be the only one able to quad the biggest quad on the track and do it constantly. A lot of guys looking at my car looking for a 4s pack because most 1/8 buggies where not quading! Everyone watching cheering every time I made it." Jayson Tjepkema  Tekin teammate Mike Turner bumped from the B after tough luck all weekend taking 9th.

Nick Buechler would also podium in 2wd Mod truck taking 3rd overall with his Tekin RS Gen2 Redline powered AE T4.2. Tekin teammate Shane Preugschat wasn't far behind takin 5th.
